IFSA - NAFIPS 2019: Paper Submission Guidelines

There will be a refereed pre-conference proceedings to be made available upon arrival at the conference. Springer Verlag will also publish one or more printed Lecture Notes in Computer Science volumes to be made available subsequently to the public.

Authors should prepare a manuscript of no more than 12 pages, including results, figures, and references, using the Springer Verlag LaTeX contributed book (SVMult) style.

Authors should submit both the LaTeX source, with all figures, and the generated PDF through the EasyChair submission link. (This may be done, for instance, by submitting a zip file containing all relevant files.)

If the manuscript is meant for a special session, the title you enter into the EasyChair system must have the name of the special session at the beginning (session_title: paper_title). For instance, if you are submitting a paper entitled "An Image Processing Algorithm to Detect Defects in Optical Fibers" to a special session on "Image and Signal Processing", the title you enter into the EasyChair system should be: "IMAGE AND SIGNAL PROCESSING: An Image Processing Algorithm to Detect Defects in Optical Fibers".

Authors in contributed sessions have a choice of 15 minute presentation or a poster session. If the manuscript is meant for a 15 minute session, the title you enter into the EasyChair system must have "TALK:" at the beginning (session_title: paper_title). For instance, if you are submitting a paper entitled "Membership functions for banquet preferences," the title entered into EasyChair should be: "TALK: Membership functions for banquet preferences". If the presentation is meant for a poster session, the title entered into EasyChair should be: "POSTER: Membership functions for banquet preferences".

Keynote speakers who wish to submit a proceedings paper may preface the title entered into EasyChair with "Keynote:".

Post-conference proceedings

The deadline for submission of papers to be included in the pre-conference proceedings has passed. However, papers may still be submitted until a date to be determined after the conference, and will be refereed for one or more post-conference proceedings volumes in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. To be considered for such volumes, authors of such papers must attend the conference. We will do our best to schedule a time for presentation (either as a poster or in a contributed session) of such papers, provided an abstract (or the paper) is received by April 22.
