Work: The written assignments will be the primary work in the course. These will be primarily from the text, but with some from the book Rigorous Global Search: Continuous Problems and others given in class. There will be both written assignments and assignments requiring use of computational equipment (as in the resources writup). For a list of problems that are due, as well as when they are due, see assignments.
In addition to the written and computer assignments, there will be a
midterm and a final exam.
