1. The primary text will be the manuscript, Introduction to Numerical Analysis by Arnold Neumaier. I have a Postscript copy of this book, and you will receive copies of it for the cost of duplication. In return, you will be expected to find and report errors in it. (You will receive extra credit for each such error found.) Unless otherwise listed, assignments will be from this text.

This text is recommended, as much of the supplementary material in the course uses Fortran 90.
