I'm visiting Ron van Iwaarden this week. We were looking at your
paper "Interval Extensions of Non-Smooth Functions for Global
Optimization and nonlinear systems solvers". In Section 2, Formula
6, should $x_q = x_r$ be \ne?
In that same formula, Ron and I have convinced ourselves that it
also makes sense for \frac{\partial \chi}{\partial x_s} =
(-\infty, +\infty), too, if 0 \in x_s.
