BIBLIOGRAPHY OF SOVIET WORKS ON INTERVAL COMPUTATIONS To date authors from the former Soviet Union have published or prepared for publication at least 500 papers in Russian devoted to various areas of Interval Computations. Unfortunately, due to the language barrier and problems with access these works are practically unknown outside the former Soviet Union. This publication is a step to remedy this situation. The bibliography includes references to the works of the authors who were the citizens of the Soviet Union the works were written. The list, prepared in the Computer Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Krasnoyarsk) under the management of Dr. Boris S.Dobronets, was taken as the basis for the bibliography. Later, the list was corrected, appended and translated into English by Lyudmila V.Kupriyanova (Saratov State University), and edited by Alexander G.Yakovlev (Moscow, Institute for New Technologies) and R.Baker Kearfott (University of Southwestern Louisiana). As a basis for the bibliographic standard, the standard in the following publications was taken: Garloff, J. Interval mathematics. A bibliography. Freib. Int.-Ber. 6 (1985), p. 1-222; Garloff, J. Bibliography on interval mathematics. Continuation. Freib. Int.-Ber. 2 (1987), p. 1-50. The Editorial Board of the International Journal "Interval Computations" can offer translation upon demand of these papers into English. The following rules apply to orders for translations: a) the fee for a translation is $5.95 per standard page (2000 characters or equivalent space with tables, formulas or pictures) of a source text; b) a translation can be supplied in the following forms: - 2 hardcopies printed by ChiWriter via ordinary mail for one fee; - 2 hardcopies via ordinary mail and the corresponding ChiWriter file via e-mail for a double fee; - ChiWriter file only via e-mail for a one and half fee. c) all rights on translations belong to the Editorial Board of "Interval Computations"; d) money for a translation, along with instructions concerning which form is desired, should be sent to an official representative of the journal.
