Mathematics 555 Course Prerequisites

Math. 455 (advanced numerical analysis, first semester) or permission of the instructor and graduate coordinator. Additionally, students should have a working knowledge of a scientific computer programming language (preferably Fortran 90/95). (Online information concerning  Fortran 90 is at http://wwwinfo.cern.ch/asdoc/f90.html.)
