Calculus

  • Duke University's "Connected Curriculum Project" materials can be found at  http://www.math.duke.edu/modules/  (These are mostly Maple-based, but there are some with Mathematica.  For second-semester calculus, click on "Integral Calculus.")
  • The University of Minnesota Calculus Initiative at http://www.geom.umn.edu/education/calc-init/ (This  has several modules that can be of use to us.)
  • Calculus and Mathematica at Ohio State University
  • Calculus on the Web at Temple University This is an entire interactive calculus course, complete with homework and assignments.  We will be using portions of this throughout the semester.
  • Graphics for the Calculus by Douglas Arnold.
  • Wolfram Alpha (for computing and graphing derivatives and integrals)
  • A list of common errors on students' papers
