Below are some rules about using the Computer Labs.

Please help keep the lab neat and clean. For obvious reasons do not bring food or drink into the lab. When you are finished using them please push the keyboard tray and chair back under the table. Please place any recyclable paper in the recycle box under the printer and place any trash in the trash can by the door.

Do not change the settings on the printer. If you want to change the appearance of your output do so via software. Do not open the printer unless you know what you are doing. In particular please do not mess with the toner cartridge. If the printer needs service, please let us know and we will fix it.

The books and manuals in the bookcase should not be removed from the lab. Please return books to the bookcase when you are finished with them. We do have another copy of some of these manuals and We will lend these for use outside the lab.

If you find any problems with the hardware (including tables etc.) or software in the lab please let us know as soon as possible so that we can fix it. If there is a computer hardware or software problem be sure to describe it fully and to tell us which machine is involved.
